Chrysa Giota was born in Chalkida Greece. Her parents are Georgios Giotas and Eleftheria Papageorgiou- Giota. She is married and she is mother of two daughters.

She graduated from Dental School of National Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2001.

She did her residency in Periodontology and she got her Master of Science at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2005.

She is a clinical instructor in the Periodontology Department of Dental School in Athens since 2006.

She works at private practice limited to Periodontology and Implant Dentistry since 2006. Her office is located in the center of city of Chalkida, Evia Greece. The clinic is the first practice in Chalkida limited to periodontology and Implant Dentistry and thanks to the founder’s passion for perfection and her continuing education, it never ceases to modernize and is structured with the most innovative equipment. Dental laser, piezotome, centrifuge machine, painless anesthesia system, dental microscope, dental scanner, dynamic guidance software for implant placement are just a few of the options available in the office. Dr. Chrysa Giota is particularly concerned with soft tissue surgery in teeth and dental implant surgery and has rich photographic material of her cases.

She is a member of a lot of scientific organisations such as:

  • European Federation of Periodontology
  • Hellenic Society of Oral Laser Applications
  • Hellenic Society of Periodontology
  • Hellenic Society of Odontostomatological Research

She has participated in numerous conferences and continuing education courses in Greece and abroad (mainly USA) focused on periodontology and implantology.

She has lectured in the field of hard and soft tissue augmentation and in the field of implant dentistry in a number of dental scientific events in Greece and abroad

At this stage Dr. Giota participates in a major research project on "Clinical assessment of Chios mastic effects in gingivitis and oral microbiome using advanced sequencing techniques" which has been awarded an NSRF grant in the framework of national action "Research - Create - Innovate - 2nd Cycle".

She is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. She speaks fluently Greek, English, French and German.
